The building of Biology Park is situated on Studentska street, in the area of Masaryk´s University Campus in Brno, near INBIT, biological pavilions of CESEB, CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology, the Masaryk´s University Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science, University Campus Library and the Faculty Hospital Brno.

Those, who are interested in the settlement, we can offer fully equipped office and laboratory spaces. In case you fulfill the required conditions, you can benefit from the settlement in an advantaged scheme of business incubator.

Offices

Spaces of different acreages (from 21 m2 to 62 m2) are ready to be immediately used. Each room is also equipped with the air-conditioning and outdoor blinds. Based on your needs, we can also provide you with IT technologies (PC, notebooks and printers).

Connectivity and data transfer are ensured with the high-speed data network.

Chemical laboratories

Chemical laboratories are designed for the use in biotechnology and biomedicine´s field. They differ from biological laboratories in their equipment. They can be ventilated naturally or forced through air-conditioning. The heating and cooling of these laboratories is ensured with parapet fancoils.

Chemical laboratories have the following equipment:

an observation window within a glazed wall with an entrance door
laboratory tables - equipped with technical gases, water supply, connection to liquid wastes, electric sockets
chemical hoods - equipped with gas supply, water supply, connection to liquid wastes and electric sockets
cabinets for chemicals - exhausted cabinet for safe storage of chemicals is integrated under the hood
work desks - power lines and data sockets
laboratory cabinets - for storage of laboratory equipment
all chemical laboratories are equipped with central supply of compressed air, vacuum and natural gas
there is a special safety cabinet for cylinders with a required fire resistance in all chemical laboratories
all chemical laboratories are equipped with a wash-basin and combined safety all-in-one shower with a fountain on eyewash
laboratories (laboratory tables and hoods) are connected to the central chemical and sewage waste
distribution of drinking and demineralized water is fed to the tables and hoods
wall surface - ceramic tiling
floor surface - chemically resistant PVC
heavy-current socket wiring and low-current data sockets
temperature: 20-28 ^oC, relative humidity 30-70 %
